ntfsreloc - program for adjusting FS geometry on NTFS partitions

Dewin contributed relocntfs in his mail to Linux-NTFS-Dev on Sep 20, 2006.

orgads rewrote the program on May 5, 2008, renaming it to ntfsreloc in order to comply with ntfs-progs naming convention.

ntfsreloc is not maintained or tested by Linux-NTFS members. Please report issues to the author via orgads[at]gmail-com. Please report Linux-NTFS-Dev on an updated version.

relocntfs backup sector bug should be resolved in this program.

Known Issues

The program is experimental. It was NOT tested thoroughly enough. The author will be glad to receive feedback.

[resolved] running on 64bit processor leads to corrupted NTFS bootsectors instead of a relocation.
